After months of dedication and hard work, South Harrison High School student Conner Marsh has achieved a monumental accomplishment in his vocal career. Marsh received an exciting email confirming his acceptance as a Finalist for the 2025 High School Honors Performance Series, which will culminate in a performance at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Marsh will join other talented young musicians for rehearsals, cultural and social activities, and a final concert at Carnegie Hall, one of the most prestigious venues in the world.

Conner’s Choir Director, Kierra Shelby, spoke highly of his achievements, stating, "Conner has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to excellence throughout his high school vocal career. His record of achievements, including All-District Choir selection, participation in Honor Choirs, and Gold ratings at both District and State levels for vocal solos and ensembles, speaks to his hard work and immense talent."

Shelby, who has worked closely with Conner this semester, praised his enthusiasm, openness to feedback, and passion for music, adding, "His remarkable work ethic, balanced with humility and an eagerness to grow, sets him apart. I am confident Conner’s exceptional character and abilities will propel him to continued success."

Conner Marsh’s spring trip to New York City will undoubtedly be a life-changing experience as he prepares to take the stage at Carnegie Hall—an opportunity few young musicians ever achieve. The South Harrison community eagerly awaits to see their hometown star shine on such a prestigious platform.
