Homecoming week at South Harrison High School is just around the corner! Led by the Student Council and guided by sponsor Hayley Slagle, the Winter Sports Homecoming 2025 promises a week full of spirited activities, competitions, and fun. This year’s theme, Bulldogs “Sleigh”, ties in festive cheer with school pride.
Dress-Up Days
Get ready to show your spirit with daily dress-up themes:
Tuesday: Christmas Color War – Upperclassmen (11th & 12th grades) wear red, while underclassmen (9th & 10th grades) go green.
Wednesday: Ugly Christmas Sweater and Socks – The more outrageous, the better!
Thursday: Teacher/Student Swap – Students dress as teachers, and teachers channel their inner students.
Friday: Purple & White Day – Show your Bulldog pride!

Coronation, Pep Rally, and Variety Show
Coronation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gym, where the king and queen will be crowned.
Immediately following the coronation, the Drama Club will host a Variety Show at 8:00 p.m. in the Little Theatre. Admission is $5 at the door. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy student talent and entertainment!
Hoco Dance
The week concludes with the Homecoming Dance on Friday, January 24, following the varsity basketball game. Open to grades 9-12, the dance will be held in the high school commons until 11:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, and out-of-school dates must be signed up in advance. Students may wear jeans with nice tops or dress up; school dress code applies. Fun games will also take place during the dance.
