AWS Visits North Central Career Center

Sean Flottman, the student outreach coordinator and recruiter from American Welding Academy, gives NCCC welding students a demonstration on a 6" pipe coupon on 29 NOV 2023. Sean gave a classroom presentation to our students about what AWA has to offer, then students went to the welding shop and worked with Sean on TIG welding steel and stainless steel coupons for the remainder of the block class. AWA is located in the town of Union, Missouri. Sean, who is also known as Dabs Wellington on social media platforms, who has been in the welding industry for about 20 years, worked his first welding job with Adam Holt, who is the director of training at AWA.
