The South Harrison wrestling team is making waves this season, showcasing their hard work and skill both in dual meets and tournaments. The boys’ team currently holds an impressive 8-3 dual record and has finished in the top 5 in back-to-back tournaments, each featuring over 20 teams.

“This group has been working extremely hard, and it’s exciting to see their efforts paying off,” said Head Coach Kasey McFall. “The progress they’ve made so far is a testament to their dedication, and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish in the upcoming weeks.”

The schedule remains busy as both the boys’ and girls’ teams prepare for key matchups. The girls’ team travels to Plattsburg on Monday for a tournament, while the entire team competes in duals at Cameron on Tuesday and Lathrop on Thursday. Additionally, on Thursday, January 25, the boys will head back to Lathrop for a major tournament.

“These tournaments and duals will be great preparation for our conference and district tournaments,” McFall added. “The team is putting in the work now to make sure they’re ready for the challenges ahead. I’m so proud of their progress and excited to see how they finish the season.”

With conference and district tournaments just around the corner, South Harrison wrestlers are gearing up for a strong finish. Be sure to come out and support these dedicated athletes as they represent the school with pride and determination!
